Our building was designed and built as an auto repair facility. Attention to this purpose built goal helps to ensure Performance Jags is a safe, secure, efficient, and clean environment for its’ customers to continue entrusting their Jaguars to us.

 

Ongoing programs, featuring updating of both tools and equipment, keep Performance Jags on the leading edge of accurate diagnosis and repairs resulting in lower operating costs and higher driving excitement.

 

Conveniently located on the Southeastern edge of downtown Indianapolis, Performance Jags is accessible by any freeway or major artery; we are at I65 and Washington Street. As the only Jaguar specialty garage in the vicinity, we offer free rides into downtown Indianapolis and most minor services or repairs can be accomplished during our customers’ workday.

Doug Franklin started his automotive career, in Southern California, during the mid-60’s building Hot Rods, Sports Cars and Drag Racers. His garage, Performance By Doug, was a favorite hang-out and provider of super horsepower for many regulars at Van Nuys Blvd, Irwindale Raceway, Orange County International Raceway, Pomona Drag Strip, and many other Road Courses and Drag Strips throughout the southwest.

 

His focus, on Jaguars, began in the late 70’s when he acquired his first E-Type. He has since been the proud owner of several models and is known to have at least a couple in his stable at any one time.

 

Doug has established a national reputation as an authority in the area of maximizing the Jaguar reliability, enhancing the driving experience of the Jaguar automobile, and producing some tire burning/race inspired Jaguars. This fact is evidenced by the variety of states represented on the license plates in his shop.
